A77 + OCADU Placement Agreement
These terms are a requirement and are part of the OCADU Placement Experience with A77 Inc. and acceptance of these terms are required to conduct the placement with A77 Inc. (hereby referred to as "A77"), and conducting the placement is hereby an acceptance of all terms.
These terms are reviewed every semester for update and have provided in this format in part of designing an easier student onboarding process but are the equivalent of a hand signed agreement.
Placement Description
Students' roles will encompass multidisciplinary work including but not limited to various creative and innovative projects, design, strategy, media, consulting, engagement, user experience, UI/UX design, workshops, research, events & programs, and more as further described in the placement description provided through OCADU, and as mentioned through the interview process and onboarding day.
Placement for Credit
Students hereby acknowledge that this placement is for a credit at their institution and will not be paid as their hours will not exceed the placement period for academic credit. A77 does not authorize or approve hours above the maximum of 120 hours for the placement period as specified by OCADU. OCADU specifies a range of 80-120 hours, students acknowledge this placement is being structured at 120 hours as shared during the interview process.
Placement Duration & Work Hours
This placement will be a flexible hybrid/remote setting with a total of 120 hours hours over the next several weeks within the dates specified by OCADU. Students' schedules will be shared within their first week. Students are expected to stay on track with their hours, as well as to not exceed the maximum hours, and to communicate schedules in order to balance their placement work alongside courses, personal commitments, or part time jobs. The operational model may shift throughout the placement to lean more towards in person or remote operations based on active projects and operational needs. Students are expected to complete 120 hours to complete this placement.
Access & Equipment
You will be provided access to A77's digital workspace and applications during the duration of the placement. Students will be using their own equipment (computer, laptop, etc.) but will be guided through relevant IT setup to access our network, files, and other points of access related to their assigned work for the placement while maintaining secure separation between their personal material for the duration of the placement.
Work Product, Privacy, and Confidentiality
All work product and shared during the duration of this placement is the sole property and IP of A77. Work product is not to be shared publicly or with any external entity without written authorization by authorized directors of A77.
Work product being shared with institutions for credit and placement purposes, or portfolios will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine what material can be shared.
It is expected that you will adhere to all privacy and confidentiality terms, terms & conditions, and our Code of Conduct. No work product is to be shared on social media, discussed with any news outlets, blogs, or any form without written permission from authorized directors of A77. Throughout the duration of the placement you will have access to confidential information, please refer to our Code of Conduct, NDA, and NNN for how to treat confidential information.
Files & Security
All work in all conditions and stages, whether completed, in progress, concept form, or otherwise is to remain on A77's network and applications appropriately and is not to be stored on any personal devices. Passwords and access are not to be shared. An end of placement security protocol will be followed to ensure all company materials are property stored and removed from personal devices. Students will comply with all requirements.
