The impact we've seen

We've seen new diverse ideas created from the innovation camp that create new niches in communities, or bring communities together.

Recreational and Impact Projects

Everything from the arts to the sciences and what's inbetween. Youth designed programs around activities they enjoyed the most, and took the initiative to lead them. Some also used the funding to hire professionals to help teach and run programs.

Social Impact Business

We saw new businesses created that have by design at their core a social impact focusing on one or multiple communities, utilizing the business as the secondary focus with the community and impact as the core function, redefining how businesses are looked at and showing us the priorities and values of the next generations.

Emerging Technologies

Emerging technologies are now native to younger generations, we saw them create businesses creating their own custom PCs to be accessible to low income communities, to 3D printing products.

More than just a camp.

From our work with youth, one consistent feedback is youth want the space, and the ability to make, create, and build for themselves.
We brought this to them through the Innovation Camp.

Philosophy

For us, it's about giving youth the tools we wish we had.

They realize more than we think. They see today's problems and they have ways to solve them, same as us. Investment in what's next. It's not just about providing a space for them to create and providing the funding, it's about identifying projects that can grow and change communities, cities, and by extension entire sectors. We're not waiting for them to build the change when they feel they're not heard, we've been there before, that's how A77 came to be. We're creating the space for them to make change now, and we're here to guide them, because that's who we are.
